placing their name along with the
banner, he said.
Frank Kuhn, assistant director
operations of the Nebraska Union,
said any University of Nebraska-Lin
coin student organization can reserve
the marquee twice a semester for up to
a week at a time.
Kuhn said the student organization
sponsoring the banner is Youth For
Dole.
Swanson said he speculates Youth
For Dole decided to endorse another
candidate rather than Bob Dole.
“They continue to have a Republi
can interest,” Swanson said, “and
they apparently turned their efforts to
another candidate ”
All banners displayed in the mar
quee ar e required to have the sponsor
ing organization's name displayed,
which Kuhn said Youth For Dole has
done.
