Missouri still had a chance to score a touchdown and a two-point conver sion and tie the game, but Mike Croel intercepted a Brad Fitzmaurice pass at die Missouri 37 with 26 seconds left. Nebraska’s eight-point victory was about 30 points below the point spread in Las Vegas.
