Ogrodowicz’s home run in the bottom of the third inning tied the game at three and propelled the 32-16 Comhuskers to a 10-3 victory. Nebraska coach Ron Wolforth said Ogrodowicz’s hit gave the Husk ers the momentum they needed to win three out of their four games over the i ■ weekend. Nebraska lost to Missouri 3-2 in the first game on Saturday, but then defeated Kansas. On Sunday the Huskers defeated Missouri 3-1 and Kansas 4-0. “That (hit) kind of woke us up,” Wolforth said. “That was one of the biggest swings of the season for us. “It is uncalculable the boost Ogrodowicz’s hit gave us. Her home run may turn the year around for us.” Against Kansas on Saturday Ogro dowicz had four hits in four at bats, while scoring four runs and driving in four runners. On Sunday against Kansas Ogrodowicz singled and scored on Ruth Chaiwin’s double to give her 136 runs scored in her career, - l a new Nebraska record. Three other Nebraska milestones were reached against Kansas on Sun day, all by pitcher Lori Sippcl.
