Edward Bond Thursday, Friday and
Saturday in the Temple Building 301
on the University of Nebraska-Lin
coln campus.
The drama of Len, an essentially
good man struggling to understand
the world and the people around him,
is complicated by his failures.

He falls in love with Pam after she
picks him up for a one-night stand,
and she seems to reciprocate his feel
ings. He moves in with her and her
parents and plans to marry her. But
Pam tires of him and finds a new
lover, Fred, who sees her as little more
than a one-night stand.
In “Saved,” Bond presents a scath
ing view of contemporary society —
a society where people lose their
humanity with all too much ease.
Samuel Wolfgang Schimek di
rects the play. Deirdre Dorscher de
signed the costumes. And David
Blenderman directs the lighting.
Steve Lewis, Mary Park, Carolyn
Slemp, Bruce Tinker, Kyle Clark,
Scott Tomhave, Rob McEntarffer,
Timothy Lee, Michael Hjuler and
Mary Zietlow compose the cast.
Performances in the Studio Thea
ter are at 8 p.m. each night. A Satur
day matinee is set for 2 p.m. Admis
sion is $2 for students and $3 for the
general public.
