Lincoln Parks and Recreation is accepting applications
tor the following summer playground positions. Appli
cants are required to be at least 18 years of age bv June

Playground Leader (4.10/hr)
Playground Assis'ant (3 90 hr)
Playground Craft Specialist (4.10 hr)
Playground Activity Specialist (4.10/hr). For this
position, preference is given to applicants who have
had at least two years playground experience with
Lincoln Parks and Recreation
Applicants who have completed one session of play
ground employment during previous calendar year will
be eligible for $4 30 per hour, EXCEPT playground
assistant M ust be available for training session June 6
10. 8:30 12:00 and for entire program period. June 13
August 5, 9:15-12:15. Playgrounds located at elemen
tary school sites and city parks (to be announoed).
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: A more complete listing of
|ob descriptions and qualifications for each position is
available at the Parks and Recreation Office.
Mature individual with outgoing personality and ability to
relate to children Must have ability to plan and conduct
a recreation program for grade school children Must
have experience working in a leadership role with groups
of children. Must be physically able to perform all duties
related to leading physical activities including active
participation with the children. Must provide own trans
portation.
Other specialized skills are required for the Craft, and
Activity Specialist positions.
