Once again this year the Sheldon
Film Theatre will present continuous
film entertainment for the entire
family.
In addition to the films of Robert
Mugge, showing Thursday through
Sunday evenings, the Sheldon is
presenting five one and a half hour
collections of live-action and ani
mated features in the afternoons,
beginning at 11 a.m. Friday and
Saturday and at noon on Sunday.
"Experimental Animation," fea
turing the work of Robert Breer,
among others, will be shown at 1 1
a.m. Friday, and 6 p.m. Saturday,
and at 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
"Conceptual Comedy" will show
at 12:45 p.m. Friday, at 4:15 p.m.
Saturday and at 1:45 p.m. Sunday.
"The Funniest Shorts of the
Seventies," featuring clips from
"Saturday Night Live" and other
70s comedy will be shown at 2:30
p.m. Friday and Saturday and at
noon on Sunday.
"The Funniest Shorts of the Eight
ies" will show at 4:15 p.m. Friday,
12:45 p.m. Saturday and at 5:15 p.m.
Sunday.
"Deca Dance," a collection of
dance clips, shows at 1 1 a.m; and at
6 p.m. Saturday.
Admission is a festival button,
which costs $2. Children are ad
mitted free. The Flatwater Film
Festival is sponsored by Information
Technology Inc.
