SAVAGE from Page 18
said her aggressiveness stood out
the most.
' Walton said Savage has improved
most noticeably in her consistency
in the all-around.
A Big Eight Conference cham
pionship and competing in the
national finals are among Savage's
goals for this season. She said
Nebraska's team is loaded with
experience, which takes pressure
off an injured gymnast.
Savage, a nursing major, with a
3.367 grade point average, said
gymnastics is the most important
thing in her life now. She said the
best aspect of this year's team, for
her, is the unity and friendship that
has evolved from her career at
Nebraska.
