Nebraska shot only three of 17 free throws in their 87-71 loss to the tigers before 1 1,902 at the Bob Devaney Sports Center. It was Nebraska's first loss at home this season. Nebraska coach Danny Nee said Nebraska's poor performance from the line was the deciding factor in the game. "I thought the team gave a good effort," Nee said. "We played hard in the game and the effort was there, but the fundamentals weren't. We played well, but we didn't play well enough to win."
