Carry it around
campus and
into the

The IBM PC Convertible gives you
the power of an IBM PC in a size yon

That means it can help you handle
schoolwork faster and more effectively
than ever.
PC Convertible is extremely
versatile. With optional attachments, it
easily connects to other IBM PCs and
I BM-compalible peripherals, or even
a campus mainframe.
W ith that kind of power and
expandability the PC Convertible can
graduate w ith you, right into your
chosen profession.

'Plague of Alios' dull
COMICS from Page 9
The unquestionable low point of the
book comes from fan-favorite Piers
Anthony. Anthony is an incredibly
graceless and inept writer, and I find
his phenomenal popularity sad and
confusing. His story, "Plague of Alios,"
is dull, contrived and silly.

NEW
- This is a must-have for "Elfquest"
fans. I don't recommend that people
who have never read the comic start
here, but most science-fiction fans
probably will get something from this
book. "Thieves World" admirers, in
particular, probably will have a great
time reading "Blood of Ten Chiefs."

STYLING SALONS
We've got the style for you.
Compiled by Stew Magnuson
Staff Reporter
At Kimball:
The Pride of all Nebraska, the Corn
husker Marching Band, performs tonight
and Saturday at Kimball Recital Hall.
Certainly the acoustics will be better
at Kimball than at Memorial Stadium,
so this is a chance to hear the band
loud and clear. Performances are at 8
p.m., and tickets are $5 for adults and
$3 for students of high-school age or
younger. Tickets are available at the
band office (Westbrook Music Building
123) or at Kimball Box Office.
American Films:
Perhaps Elvis' best film, if such a
thing exists, shows tonight in the
Nebraska Union. "Jailhouse Rock" fea
tures that immortal line, "Lady, I'm
sure I don't know what the hell you're
talking about!" Show times are 7 and 9
p.m.
On TV:
Why would anyone want to miss the
immortal classic "The Blob" tonight at
7 p.m. on WGN, channel 2? Steve
McQueen plots to destroy the hideous
blob from outer space and save human
ity. On a scale of one to five, this film
would rate a 12.
