Second Semester Art Opening
The Malcolm Public Schools, Lancaster
County, will be interviewing teachers endorsed
in art on Thursday, Dec. 4.
Omaha Public Schools Fall Interviews
Representatives from the Omaha Public
Schools will be interviewing December gradu
ates and alumni on Dec. 12. Preschool special
education majors plus students with other
endorsement areas are encouraged to sign up for
interviews.
Teaching Opportunites in California
The San Bernadino City Unified Schools will
be interviewing December graduates and alumni
on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 8, 9
and 10. Loren Bargman, the deputy superintend
ent, wants to interview candidates in the follow
ing endorsement areas: elementary education,
elementary bilingual, math, science and special
education.

of the above mentioned schools. Copies of your

1987 Internships for the Internationally
minded include:
Operation Crossroads Africa
Leaders needed for projects relating to archi
tecture, health educat ion, archaeology, agricultural
development. Students must be at least 24.
Undergraduates will be accepted as work camp
participants. Deadline is Jan. 20.
Carnegie Endowment for International
Peace
Offers internships with their journals For
eign Affairs and Ar'ms Control Today to
highly qualified graduating senior and former
students who have graduated within the past
year. Deadline is Dec. 22.
The Ford Foundation
Will hire 27 interns to assist their program
officers around the world in reviewing funding
requests and evaluating completed grants. Eight
of the interns will be placed in Mexico City,
Lima, Rio, Cairo, West Africa and Dhaka. Interns
hired to assist with the foundation's culture,
human rights, investments, urban poverty,
archives and information services will be in New
York. Open to graduate students with a Jan. 12
application deadline.
Radio Free Europe
Offers an internship for a German speaking
business management student. Deadline Feb. 16.
