Building questions
are 'no problem'
PROBLEMS from Page 10
Basic human needs also are met in
this plan. Perhaps, with some thought,
our nation's preoccupation with the
idea of limited nuclear war could be
satiated. Contractors gotta build things,
Regents gotta spend, fish gotta swim,
birds gotta fly.
You say, sure, but what about those
heinous, venal human traits that we all
must satisfy in one way or another,
some in closets, others in the board
room. Well, you don't think I'd forget
about avarice, greed and atavism, do
you?
All this contracting, building and
money changing from sweaty palm to
sweaty palm is sure to breed just the
sort of general corruption the Califor
nia Gold Rush or the economic upsurge
of the '20s bred. What fun. What satis
faction. No problem.

Omaha
Courtesy of Larry Omaha
Larry Omaha, a Chicano comedian,
will appear in the Nebraska Union Ball
room Saturday night from 7 to 9 p.m., as
part of the Chicano Arts Festival.
Omaha, who is from Omaha, has
been a regular at the Comedy Store and
the Improvisation in Los Angeles and a
favorite on the college concert and
comedy circuit. Omaha has opened for
such people as Jay Leno, Henny Young
man, and Earth, Wind and Fire.
After just 36 months as a comic,
Larry Omaha's subtle but razor sharp
wit has garnered him increasing atten
tion as an up-and-coming talent. Using
his acting skills and his Hispanic
background, he brings to life sketches
of contemporary society.
In the 1984 L.A. Comedy Competi
tion, Omaha was ranked in the top ten.
Tickets for the show are $2 for stu
dents and $3 for non-students.
