"The World of Grandma Moses," the
first traveling exhibit of American folk
artist Anna Mary Robertson Moses, will
open June 8 at the Joslyn Art Museum
in Omaha.
Guided public tours will be offered
June 12, 19 and 26 at 1 p.m.
The traveling collection includes
approximately 60 paintings and draw
ings. The exhibit, sponsored by the Inter
national Exhibitions Foundation in
Washington D.C., will be featured at
Joslyn through July 21.
Pianist Okon Hwang will present her
Masters of music recital on Wednesday,
June 12 at 3:30 p.m. The recital, which
is free to the public, will include works
by Bach, Beethoven, Chopin and
Hmdemith.
