Phi Beta Kappa is a national scholastic honorary limited to the highest-ranking students in the liberal arts and sciences. Thomas E. Gouttierre, director of International Studies and Pro grams at UNL, was the featured speaker at the banquet. His topic was "Tensions in Afghanistan."
