Women's volleyball playoffs begin tonight.
Alpha Delta Pi leads the pack with a per
fect 6-0 record. Uneeks are rated 3rd
behind Raymond Three who had an eas
ier time witn tneir opponents. Curr Three
East beat the Gators by forfeit and lost in
a number of close matches. Al?it Phi's
only loss was to Smith Ten. Smith Ten,
ranked 5th behind Alpha Phi, lost to
unrated Alpha Omlcron Pi New Crew at
5-1 lost its match against unranked Smith
Rodeo teams

Deb Walker won second place
overall and Jeff Oestmann and
Von Svoboda won first average
places as the men's and women's
rodeo teams came away with top
finishes in a collegiate competi
tion in Fargo, N.D.
Walker, who took third in break
away roping and second in goat
tying, led the women's team to a
first place finish.
"We've had more total points,
but weVe only been able to get
second and third before "Walker
said. Lea Nieveen and Cathy Her
stead also competed for the
women's team.
The men's team finished second
behind National College of Rapid
City. Oestmann's victory came in
the calf roping division, while
Svoboda took first in bull riding.
Svoboda teamed with Dale Har
vey for fourth in team roping,
while Lynn Nieveen was second
in steer wrestling.
The rodeo club's last competi
tion this fall is scheduled for Nov.
16-18 at Dickinson State College
in Dickinson, ND.
