The men's and women's cross
country teams go off on the right
foot by putting in strong perfor
mances at the Husker Invitational

Dirksen said he also was happy
with junior Mike Herring, who cut
four minutes from his last year's
time, finishing at 33:42.

year's team is much better than
the 1933 squad. The Cornhuskers
