free coffee and cookies in the
union lobby.
"Many students who don't know
what it tastes like aren't apt to
buy a cup " Penas said.
But Penas said she received

In addition to coffee tasting,
the promotion sponsored a con
test to see who could guess the
number of coffee beans in ajar.
Three people spent about one
hour counting the jar of 16,248
coffee beans for the contest, Penas
said.
Bob Brandt's guess of 16,433
won him the first prise of a Brew
Master electric-drip coffee maker.
Brandt is the complex program
director of Selleck Quadrangle.
