Stewart said she is happy with estern and making it to the NCAA

"We were 9-22 my first year and Stewart said she is counting on
22-9 last year," Stewart said. "With sophomore Cathy Griesheim and
five starters returning from last
year's team, we should continue
to improve."
Stewart graduated in 1977 from
UNL, where she was manager for
the volleyball team. She then
coached at Norris High School
before going on to college coach-
senior Dee Ann Davidson to lead
Iowa to the top. Last year, Grie
sheim was the Big Ten Freshman
of the Year. Davidson was a second
team all-Big Ten performer.
Iowa will play rival Iowa State
Saturday morning before playing
Nebraska Saturday afternoon.
Stewart said she will rely cn
steady motivation to keep her
team sharp for both games.
