Contact Millie Katz, Experiential Education Office, Oldfather 1218, 472-1452 immediately. The Student Watch organization on the UNL campus currently is recruiting new members. This group is composed of stu dent volunteers who patrol and provide escort service on campus to reduce crime and the incidence of sexual assault. An orientation meeting for new and return ing members will be Sept. 9 at 7 p.m. in the Nebraska Union. On Aug. 30, at 3:30 p.m., the Main Events Committee will meet at the East Campus Union to begin planning East fest. An Ice Cream Social will be Thursday from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The social, spon sored by the Agricultural Advisory Board and the Faculty Advisory Coucncil, will take place south of the Agricultural Eco nomics Building on East Campus. Two evening information meetings are planned to help Lincoln citizens deal with the new flood plain maps developed by the Corps of Engineers. All property owners within the new flood plain boun daries are invited to attend. There will be a meeting at 1 tonight in the fourth floor auditorium of Bennett Martin Public Lib rary. The meeting also will be televised live over Cable Channel 10. At-home par ticipants can phone in their quesitons to city staff members. Police Report UNL parking lots were the scene of two accidents Monday. In Parking Area 21, a car backed from a parking stall and was struck by another coming down the aisle. Damage to one car was estimated at $350. The other car received minimal damage. The other accident, at the Nebraska Center for Continuing Education, oc curred when two cars, backed out of their stalls and collided. Damage was estimated at $400 for one car and $1 50 for the other. No injuries were reported in either accident. The following incidents were reported to UNL police between 8:13 a.m. and 7:44 Monday. 8:13 am. Battery reported stolen from a car at 1908 S St. 10:30 a.m. Fire alarm reported soun ding at Keim Hall. 12:46 p.m. - Two-car, non-injury acci dent reported at Parking Area 21. 1:54 p.m. Non-injury auto accident reported at Abel Hall. 1:56 p.m. Two-car, non-injury acci dent reported at the Nebraska Center for Continuing Education, 33rd and Holdrege streets. 4,06 p.m. UNL police assisted Lin coln police after a two-car accident at 15th and U streets. 5:30 p.m. Security alarm reported sounding at Sheldon Memorial Art Gallery. 5:32 p.m. - Wallet reported stolen from locker at the Coliseum. 5:59 p.m. Disturbance reported on the north side of the Nebraska Union. 7:44 p.m. Person reported tamper ing with emergency phone at 19th and Vine streets.
