I only had one more year left and I probably would have raced D (intermediate) at nationals, but it really wasn't going to get me anywhere," he said. "You get a lot more recognition on a motorcycle." "I want to see how good I can get, and how fast I can get," he said. Antinoro attributes hb success to hb dedication. He said it is common knowledge among bikers that racing b 80 percent rider and 20 percent motorcy cle. He said he takes pride in the fact that he has earned the repsect of the older riders. At age 16, he is riding against people in their early and mid-20s as well as people hb own age. "I'm one of the youngest in my class and they respect me," he said. "It makes me feel good if I can get them psyched out a little bit." He becomes angry when he sees people who have talent, not only in motocross but in other sports, but waste it by not taking it seriously and partying too much. "If you train hard, youll have a lot of success. But you could have all the talent in the world, but if you don't work for it...you know," Antinoro said. "If I was on a football team, I would want to be a star." Antinoro said he enjoys partying just as much as the next guy. But, he said, he knows he would be cheating himself if he didn't take full advantage of hb capabilities. Antinoro works part time at a grocery store and said that $60 of hb paycheck goes toward hb motorcycle every week. The money is used for bike equipment, entry fees, and other miscellaneous items.
