Model Citizens guarantees good fun By Tish Mocldcr tmd Donna Sisson By now most Lincoln music-goers have either heard or heard of the Model Citizens Club. The Model Citizens Club experience is not a par ticularly unique one. Nobody throws up on stage, the music isn't bizarre or abstract, but it doesn't lie deep into the crevice of some previously described tract of music, either. The Model Citizens Club experience is a guarantee of good music and good fun. Large crowds generally accompany its performances which translates into large amounts of Lbido and excitement. The Model Citizens Club was formed when lead singerguitarist Danny OlCane and drummer Jim Robson, both formerly of the Ripchords, joined with Dave Cookson on synthesizer, Etuart Cary on bass and Brian Sistek on percussion. Though they have always performed as a five member band, O'Kane wrote and performed all the tracks on three songs. Because of this, the album lists "Danny 'Oh" on the cover instead of "Model Citizens Club." - - '""""''""" "' " " .,.......,,.."""" "... ...
