will win the primary by 17 percent, and the effect of
the early projections will account for only 6 percent
of Harts lead, with a margin of error of plus or
minus 6 percent?
Nagle: Well
Congressman: Or ABCs projection that Ronald
Reagan will declare himself king, thereby making
the primaries and caucuses a mere formality.
Nale: Urn
Congressman: Or, most dramatically, Cable News
Network's projection that nuclear war between Iran
and Iraq will annihilate mankind, roughly in the
year 1938, resulting in the cancellation of the 1933
caucuses?
Nagle: Er
Congressman: Get out of here! You're wasting my
time. Page, call my wife and tell her to sell our life
insurance.
The hearing ended with representatives from
NBC, CBS, ABC and CNN projecting that Nagle was
just kidding about the whole thing anyway, and the
subcommittee had a beer and watched Three's
Company.

Tell me this is all a joke
I was enlightened by your report of
the Dr. Clayton Rivers speech during
Alpha Tau Omega's and Delta Delta
Delta's Week on the Wagon (Daily Neb
raskan, Feb. 21). I had believed for
years that our concern about the ef
fects of drinking grew out of our con
cern about-wasted lives and wasted
money. Now I hear the problem is
reduced sex drive, impotency and, hor
ror of horrors, reduced promiscuity.
His summerization says it all: "You can
drink a lot of alcohol and enjoy its
effects without ever getting drunk."
When taxpayers such as I read in

many people consider UNL as border
ing on a zoo? Please tell me this was all
