Tuesday, February 21, 1934 Daily Ncbraskan 11 i nance tour includes Kimball stop r ( X i Alvin Ailey Kimball Recital Hail The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater is celebrating its 25th adver sary with a 22-city American tour which includes a return engagement at Kimball Hail, 8 p.m. March 5 through 7. Their performances are part of the Kimball Performing Arts Series. The 25th anniversary tour will fea ture premieres, revivals and classic works from the Ailey repertory. Pro- grams vary each night. Monday's sche dule includes "Night Creature," Tread ing " "Rainbow liound My Shoulder" and "Revelations." On Tuesday, "Isba," "Love Songs," "Ni-ht Shade" and The Stack Up" will be featured. "Suite Otis," Treading " "Sengs Without Words" and "Revelations" wind up the schedule Wednesday. Since the Ailey Company's debut in 1958, the company has performed for an estimated 10 million people in 43 states and 44 countries. The U.S. State Department has sponsored the com pany on 15 foreign tours, including a six-city tour of the Soviet Union. That marked the first time a contemporary American dance company performed in the Soviet Union since Isadora Dun can. Tickets are available for all three performances.
