Wednesday, January 18, 1334 Daily Ncbraskan Ronstadl . Continued from .Pecs 12 Unfortunately, Ronstadt's picture on the album cover is a bit out of place. It portrays Rortstadt with a twisted, tormented, rather sado-masochistic ex pression on her face which goes well with the new wave look popular today but not with the orches trated music and album. Too bad. The cover caters to the glittering gimmick and hype of the record industry but is untrue to the lovely music on the album. One note of caution: Ronstadt's voice is extremely powerful as she belts out these emotional lyrics, to a point that it becomes overbearing. Playing this album at high volume levels may cause Ronstadt's vocals to irritate and overwhelm. Also, listeners should beware of friends and roommates who become addicted to the simple, gliding melodies and proceed to burden others with . personal renditions. llzry C.
