Beginning Jan. 3, the build ings will be open during normal hours. All residence halls, except the international wing of Ncihardt Residence Center will be closed from 8 am. Dec. 22 until 1 p.m. Jan. 1 1. Food service for all closed residence halb will reopen for breakfast Jan. 16, the first day of second semester classes. Love Memorial and C.Y. Thompson libraries will be closed Dec. 24 through 26, Dec. 3 1 through Jan. 2, Jan. 7, 8, 14 and 1 5. Both will be open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. after that. The UNL Bookstore will be closed Dec. 24 through Jan. 2. The Nebraska Bookstore, 1135 R St., will observe normal hours between semesters. The athletic ticket office will be closed Dec. 24 through Jan. 1. All city, county and state offices will be closed Dec. 26, the Monday following Christmas, and Jan. 2, the Monday following New Year's. Mail will not be delivered, Lincoln Transportation Sys tem buses will not run and banks will be closed on those days. The LTS shuttle bus between City and East cam puses will not run from Dec. 22 to Jan. 15. As of Jan. 16, the fourth bus schedule between City and East Campus will be discontinued because of a decline in ridership. Estimated loss is $50. 5:15 p.m. One per son arrested for disturb ance of the peace and theft in relation to a theft of clothing at 480 N. 16th St 5:20 p.m. Backpack reported stolen from the shelves outside the Ne braska Union bookstore.
