We are writing thi3 letter in response
to your front-pc3 article on survival
after a nuclear blest (Daily Nebraskan,
Dec. 1). The purpose of the seminar
was to educate people on the mea
sures that we can take to increase our
chances of survival after a nuclear
blast ,
We all are avare of the hih death
tell in a nuckar war, but there are
many cf us who are unaware that we
can minimize tha numbers who die, as

mentioned thii. He Instead stated that

be killed. However if they were In some
sort cf shelter, they could survive. The
radiation from the bomb itself would
be absorbed by the atmosphere at a
much shorter radius.
