Business this August b even better than for the same period last year, Cathe said, with just one problem. "Wow I'm losing all my silverware and my ash trays," Cathe said. On the other side cf the coin, Edward Sell, man ager cf the Stuart Theater, ICth and P streets, said he was not pleased with " his business, but he was not surprised, either. "Since classes have beun, our business has plummeted, he said. "It's a formula we fol low each year " he said. VTe staff down and wait a couple weeks cntn bus iness picks cp." One factor which may be keeping students away is the tremendous heat, said Linda Moore, co owner cf the two Dirt Cheap Record Stores in Lincoln. "It's been setting a little busier, up maybe 10 per cent, she said. "But usu ally we notice more at our downtown store. Maybe it's still too hot for, everyone." Returning students often have favorite estab lishments they frequent, meaning better business for those places. "We've noticed a lot of" our collets regulars are btck," eaid Pets Gri!ll3, manager at Stock's, 23 P St "As soon as they est settled, more .will start showing up. I think wall see a bij increase this weekend." Perennial collegiate favorite Domino's Vizzz abo welcomes the return cf UNL students, said Karleen Cochrane, office manager at Domino's.
