Tune-a-gram la not a hih-protein, mineral
enriched cat food a3 the name might , imply.
Instead, it is a high-energy, talent-enriched
telegram service that musically nourishes any
occasion.

Cecilia Lawson sings for her supper and has
done so for the past three years. She opened
her business at 3259 Potter St., to earn extra
income and had no intention of working at it
full-time. But when her other job was phased
out, Lawson said the service became "males it or
break it."
"When we started, there were probably five
sinking telegram pompanies across the United
States1 Lawson said. tIow there are 500 to 600
of them. All of a sudden, it's the popular thing to
do." '. .. . .
Innovations in costumes and special services
keep images of Tune-a-gram dancing in the
public's mind, according to Lawson.
