stores in Lincoln.
King Tut's Grocery and Import
Goods, 1C42 O St. offers a wide selec
tion of foods from Syria, Lebanon, Iraq,
Greece, India and Pakistan. Yosry Bis
hay, owner of King Tut's, said he stocks
foods from most of the Mediterranean
countries as well as some oriental and
Jewish foods.
King Tut's also offers a variety of
dried and canned goods as well as
fresh goods. For those who like Middle
Eastern sweets, Bishay has fresh
homemade Baklava.
Store hours are 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to
8:30 p.m. Saturday.
Asian House of Lincoln, 700 N. 27th
St. is another ethnic grocery store that
carries oriental and Middle Eastern
foods, and some It alian foods. Its stock
ranges from fish to dried and canned
goods and fresh vegetables. It also has
an extensive gift shop.
Asian House store hours are 1 1 a.m.
to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 11
a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 1 2 p.m. to 5
p.m. Sunday.
A-Dong Foods, 107 N. 27 St., also
specializes in oriental food and carries
foods from other eastern countries.
Store hours are 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
daily.
Oriental Market, 611 N. 27th St., is
another specialty grocery store that
offers foods from China, Japan, Laos,
Malaysia and Taiwan. It imports all its
food from Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan
and Malaysia.
