Wednesday, August 24, 1933 Daily Nebraskan Pago 41 Temple to sta; U I m n The Dre sser The Lincoln premiere of The Dresser," one of the most acclaimed plays of the 1031 Broadway season, will be staged at Temple Studio Theatre, 12th and R streets. Proceeds from the play, by Ronald Harvvood, will be earmarked for fund ing assistantships in the UNL Department of Theatre Arts. The play will be pres ented Thursday through Sunday and again on Aug. 31, by the Nebraska Dir ector's Theatre. The play is set in 1912, as the blitz is raging over a small city. Inside a run down theater, a traveling theater troupe prepares to perform, rbywright 1 lar wood was a member of just such a traveling company. The Dresser" stars Sen. David Landis in the title role and co-stars Rex McGraw, as Sir, an aging Shakespearean actor. The cast also includes Nancy Marcy, Julie Uribe, J. Christopher Wineman, Constance Hill and Wil liam Schultz. It is direct ed by UNL masters stu dent Lindsay Korth.
