Hie UNL Police Department received the following
calls and complaints from 7 a.m. Tuesday to 7 a.m.
Wednesday.
8:59 a.m. - Traffic accident reported in loading one
near Home Management Laboratory on Hast Campus.
9:00 ajri. - Car's windshield reported broken in
Parking Area 2 near Sandoz Hall.
10:14 a.ni. - Leather craft equipment reported stolen
from Men's Physical Education Building.
11:04 a.m. - Oscilloscope reported stolen from
Nebraska Engineering Center.
1 1 :58 a.m. - Book reported stolen from Love Library.
12:36 p.m. - Bookbag reported stolen from UNL
Bookstore.
1:01 p.m. - Stereo system reported stolen from car
in Parking Area 1 at 17th and R streets.
1:56 p.m. - Bike reported stolen from 715 N. 16th
St.
2:08 p.m. - Fire alarm reported sounding at Love
Library.
3:14 p.m. - Water balloons reported being thrown in
area of Neihardt Residence Complex; settled by officers.
4:25 p.m. - Bookbag reported stolen from Nebraska
Bookstore.

On the contrary, they say, members' lives have changed
because of "the miracle God can work in a person's life,"
as Lange put it. He compared conversion to the
Unification Church to the conversion of St. Paul to
Christianity on the road to Damascus.
"That's such a classic example," Lange said. "Can
you imagine what his parents said?"
Mclnerheney cited instructions this year from Moon
that tell members to write their families once a week
as evidence that the church is not against members having
contact with their parents.
Lange said he has called and written his parents, but
they have not taken the initiative to respond.
The goal of the Unification Church is a revolution,
Mclnerheney said, not with guns and bombs, but by
making people realize they are God's children, by
breaking down barriers that separate believers into
