Nebraska was aided in the first game by 1 1 walks. Kansas jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the second inning of the second game but Nebraska took the lead with two runs in the top of the third. Kansas grabbed a 5-2 lead in the bottom of ihe fiftli but Nebraska scored five in the top of the sixth to take a 7-5 lead. Kansas scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth for the 8-7 victory, Ben Ainaya picked up the loss for Ne braska in relief of Bob Sebta. Nebraska will now take a 324 record into Tuesday's double-header with UNO. Kansas' record now stands at 13-14 after the weekend's action.
