The victory was the first regional win in the team's history. Nebraska finished with 1 78.15 points, while Minnesota was a distant second with 174.08. Nebraska qualified for the NCAA championships, which will be April 7-9 at the University of Utah in Ogden. Twoey was the only individual winner for the Corn huskcrs, scoring a 9.45 on the vault. Grabowski finished second at 9.40; Furman was fourth with a 930. Grabowski finished second in the floor exercise with a 9.45 score; Renee Bosle was sixth with a 9.20. Twoey finished seventh, live-tenths of a point ahead of teammates Char Magemann and Furman, who both posted a 9.1 .
