Polish mime ballet cancelled; fenist plays at CCimbali tonight The UNL School of Music orchestra will present a concert Sunday at 3 p.m. in Kimball Recital Hall. The orchestra will play a composition by Frank Wilhoit, a graduate student in music who graduated from summa cum laude from the Catholic University in Washington D.C. Wilhoit, 24. has written numerous musical works, including four symphonies, string quaiicts and concertos, an organ sonata for which he won the 1982 Vreeland Award in Music, and two published sonatas. This concert will be the first time in more than a decade that a university ensemble lias played a composition by a student. The concert also brings another first. The violin solo in Wilhoit's piece will be played by Robert Emile, conductor of the university orchestra. Wilhoit will conduct his own piece. The management at Kimball has announced that the April 18 performance of the Polish Mime Ballet Theater has been cancelled. Outside the United States, he performs annually in France, Canada, Germany, Scandinavia, Belgium, Holland and Switzer land.
