GLC plans . . .

Doug Ronnau, GLC city liaison, will be talking with
neighborhood groups in town.
"We've determined that in fact the UNL students are
a community, and well be trying to hook in with the
other neighborhoods," Nelson said. She cited nuclear
waste transports on the railroads as one issue which
closely concerns both the city and the university students.
Gina Reyman, GLC faculty liaison, will share student
concerns' with the UNL Faculty Senate, which first
meets in September.
Tish Mockler will be GLC City Campus office liaison,
while Greg Ibach will work in GLC's new office on East
Campus.
Greg Meehan and Fran Grabowski will be GLC's high
school liaisons. Nelson said they will work with high
school groups like student councils and Boys and Girls
State.
"We have a number of (high school) people who want
to learn more about the university," Nelson said.
As Nebraska State Student Association liaison, Ruth
Boham will coordinate contacts between GLC and the
NSSA, a statewide student lobbying group to which UNL
belongs.
