Friday, August 27, 1982 Daily Nebraskan Page 7 Stars seen this September at Hyde Observatory During September, the Lincoln public is invited to see the stars at the Hyde Me morial Observatory located on the south road of Holmes Park. The observatory will be open each Sat urday night from sunset until 1 1 p jn. to view objects through three telescopes and to see the "Saturn" and "Summer Con stellations" slide programs with taped narrations. No admission will be charged. Objects to be viewed through the tele scopes include a double star, Beta Cygni, Correction Credit lines carried on The Acreage picture page in Thursday's Daily Nebraskan were incorrect. East Campus dance to feature Footloose Capping off this week's events designed to welcome students back to UNL will be a dance this evening at East Campus. Footloose will be the band at the dance, to be held in the East Union. It is free and open to all students. Footloose will play from 9 p.m. until midnight. The activity is sponsored by UPC-East. a global star cluster, the Blinking Eye Nebula and the Dumbell Nebula. The gathering of Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn, which has fit into a 35 degree angle for the past nine months, is breaking up. After Saturn disappears later this month, all three planets will not be seen simul taniously until Jan. 1, 1984. Groups are encouraged to arrange for special presentations on days other than Saturdays by calling 474-6147.
