Current health center fees are $34.70 per student per semester. The increase would make them $40.66 per student per semester, Steve Worn, health center ad ministrator, said at the meeting. Included in the health center's budget is a request for a part-time secretary at the physical therapy clinic and an A.B.D. psychologist, a psychology student work ing for a doctorate degree. The health center also requested that salaries for health aides in living units be in creased from the current $5 per week to $7.50 per week. Blom said a part-time secretary is need ed in the physical therapy department be cause during the past year the number of students seeking counseling at the Mental Health Clinic increased by 25 percent. Also, Mental Health Director Robert Ileins resigned Friday, Blom said. CFA members expressed mixed feelings about the health center's budget. "It is unfair to approve a part-time secretary given our stringent position on Fund B," said Becky Stinglcy, CFA mcrnb cr. Fund U student fees, which include fees for the health center, the recreation depart ment and the unions, make up that portion of student fees which is not refundable. CFA member Chris Day moved to reduce the request for health aide salaries from the proposed $7.50 per week to $6 per week.
