Friday, January 29, 1982 Daily Nebraskan Page 3 Six cars vandalized in UNL parking area Six cars were vandalized in a UNL Area 3 parking lot, according to reports released Wednesday by UNL Police Investigator Bob Fey. The cars were vandalized at random, but incidents were related, according to investiging officer Larry Chamber lain. They all occurred between 2 and 9 a. m. Wednesday. All of the cars were parked at the west end of the lot, which is north of the llarper-Schramm-Smith residence hall complex. A window of each was broken and the com bined damage totaled $895. The value of personal prop erty taken in all of the incidents totaled $28 1 . Chamberlain said that in each case, the car's glove com partment had been ransacked. An unsuccessful search for witnesses was conducted; the UNL police arc asking anyone with information to contact their office. Another incident, not believed by the university police to be related, occurred Wednesday night near the General Fvlectric building north of Abel Hall.
