Team members Kate Joec kel, Deb Renter, Jim Fried man, and Roger Aden quali fied for the National Foren sics Association's national tournament in individual events. The tournament will be at Ohio State University in April. Joeckel said the team will be participating in other tournaments throughout the Midwest and trying to quali fy additional people for the national competition. Joeckel said the debate team will compete next weekend at the University of Northern Iowa, and the individual events team will compete the first weekend in October at Creighton Uni versity in Omaha.
