Ticket sale starts Tuesday The season football ticket sale for new students and other full-time students who did not purchase tickets last spring will be Aug. 25 through 28 at the Athletic Ticket Office, 117 "South Stadium. Students who wish to purchase tickets must present their current identification card as well as cash or a personal check for $30. Married stu dents may purchase an additional ticket for their spouse, but must present proof of marriage. Students who ordered a ticket in the spring can pick them up Sept. 9 through 1 1 by presenting their receipt and their new identification card. Each student must pick up and sign for his or her own ticket. Student basketball tickets for the 1981-82 season will also go on sale Aug. 25 for $10 each. The ticket office is open 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. Husker track gains three Nebraska track coach Frank Sevigne announced the signing of three recruits to letters of intent earlier this summer. Jeff Butler is one of the recruits from Omaha Bryan High School. Butler was the Class A 800-meter champion last spring and also finished third in the 400-meters at the state meet. He anchored Bryan's 1,600 meter relay team which won the gold medal at the 1981 state meet. Another recruit is Kevin Birks of San Bernadino, Calif. Birks competed for Mt. San Antonio Junior College last year. His best times are 46.3 in the 400-meters and 1 :55 in the 800-meter run. The third recruit is Mike Erickson of Wausau, Nebr.
