Kermit Hansen, from District 2, Omaha.
Hansen is the consultant to the United
States National Bank of Omaha. Hansen
was appointed a regent in 1970 and elected
in 1972 and 1973. He represents part of
Douglas County.
Kermit Wagner, district 3, Schuyler.
Wagner is the president and general mana
ger of Wagner Mills. Wagner was elected
regent in 1970 and 1976. He serves part of
Douglas and Seward counties, and all of
Dixon, Dakota, Wayne, Thurston, Madi
son, Stanton, Cuming, Burt, Colfax,
Dodge, Washington and Butler counties.
Robert J. Prokop, district 4, Wilbur.
Prokop is a co-chairman of the board. He
was elected regent in 1970 and again in
1976 and represents part of Seward
County, and all of Saline, Jefferson, Gage,
Pawnee, Johnson, Otoe, Cass, Sarpy,
Nemaha and Richardson counties.
James H. Moylan, district 8, Omaha.
Moylan has a private law practice in
Omaha. He is a member of the executive
council of the Nebraska State Bar Associa
tion, and the American, Nebraska, Iowa
and Omaha Bar Associations. He was
elected regent in 1970 and re-elected in
1976. Moylan represents part of Douglas
County.
Robert R. Koefoot, district 5, Grand
Island. Koefoot is also a co-chairman of
the board. He is a member of the board of
durectors for the NU Foundation.

John Payne, district 7, Kearney. Payne
b the president of Payne-Larson Furniture.
Payne was elected regent in 1980. He
serves Perkins, Chase, Dundy, Lincoln,
Ifayes, Hitchcock, Frontier, Red Willow,
Qister, Dawson, Gosper, Furnas, Valley,
Sherman, Buffalo, Phelps.earney, Harlan,
Boone, Greeley and Howard counties.
The student regents are: Rick Mockler,
UNL; Florience Langford, UNO, and
Michael Schmidt, UNMC. They are elected
for a one-year term by the students on
their campus.
