Women were first included in UNL's ROTC program in the 1969 Air Force division, said Chriscimagna, and were allowed in the remaining divisions in 1972. in both the Army and Air Force divisions, general enrollment has increased over the past five years. But women's enrollment has remained at a fairly steady level, according to both professors.
