frlday, may 2, 1980 daily nebraskan Black struggle . . . Continued from Page 4 Any reasonable thinking person would understand that this is clearly propaganda put out by the racist white government of South Africa to justify why they restrict large groups of blacks to small, overcrowd ed so-called Bantu regions. The real reason is not to protect the blacks against them selves as Coe suggests, but to prevent them from forming an uncontrollably massive revolutionary block that would immediate ly seize power. I would like to add that there are prob ably cases where blacks act aggressively towards each other, but this is a common psychological phenomenon experienced by every group of people who are brutally oppressed by another group to which they have no immediate access. It's called scapegoating. What Mr. Coe should under stand is that historically white people have been the most blood-thirsty murderers of themselves and others that the world has ever witnessed and in most cases it wasn't the result of oppression but in the course of stealing somebody else's property . Using this same line of reasoning, why does Coe think that the racist regime in South Africa is doing blacks a favor by separating a people who had lived successfully together for at least a million years? Now, after several months of public relations propaganda on behalf of South Africa, decisions to take the coins, decisions to leave the coins, decisions to move the coins, etc.; Coe has decided to take legal actions against someone for defamatory and slurring remarks to the press. Well, good luck Mr: Coe, but it looks to me like you did it to yourself by open ing your mouth one too many times.
