Art awards of $540 each went to Pairaj Tangsritrakul of Bangkok, Thailand, Robert Radck of Lincoln and R Craig Roper of Lincoln. Recipients of $380 English awards were Elizabeth A. Ban set of Lincoln, Ann Bardens Iferbener of Lincoln and Judith Sombcrger of Lincoln Brett Holihan, of Mukwonago, Wis., Christopher Hopkins of Oriza Vista, Calif., and Mark Bruckner of Lincoln received $380 music awards. Tangsritrakul is a Master of Fine Arts candidate specializing in pottery, ceramics, sculpture, drawing and painting. Rader is from Geneva but has lived in Lincoln for 1 1 years. He plans to do graduate work at the University of Washington at Seattle. Roper plans to spend some time in New York, Phila delphia and Albuquerque before considering' post graduation plans. Banset is a poet who is doing graduate work in creative writing. She expects to have a book-length manuscript ready soon. Sornberger is also a poet who is studying creative writing while working in the office of the Dean of Arts and Sciences at UNL and teaching writing at the Lincoln Correctional Center. Herbener also writes poetry and prose, which she is combining into a book. She is also doing graduate work at UNL Bruckner has a double major in musk and English, and his interests are in writing both literature and music. Hopkins, a cellist and conductor with performing credentials from Lincoln and his native California, is a graduate student in music composition.
