Oral surgery to be offered
Continued from Page 4
I hardly, agree that the choice is "ade
quate', as. the governor says, and also be
cause he has received much more income
throughout his life by serving the Associa
tion of Commercial Broadcasters.
Back to basics, I hope KUCV gets its
transmitter fixed so I can enjoy its re
ception, even though the transmitter is
a KFOR discard.

the position of the UNL African People's
Union that the donation of 1 300 Kruger
rands to the NU Foundation be returned.
We agree with APU that we have no moral
right to these coins or to money in ex
change for them. This gold rightfully be
longs to the disenfranchised, exploited, and
oppressed black majority in South Africa.
We also support the resolution which
calls for an end to all economic involve
ment of the university in the racist South
African regime.

Many types of oral surgery, including
wisdom tooth extractions, will be perform
ed at the University Health' Center on a
three month trial basis beginning Feb. 19.
According to Dr. 0. Garland Bare,
medical director of the health center, the
new service will be more convenient for
students.
"It is hard for students to get oral
surgery elsewhere," Bare said. The new
service is not covered by student fees, Bare
said, so students will have to pay regular
community rates.
"Lincoln's rates are comparatively lower
than those of other communities, though,"
Bare remarked.
Dr. James Wickless and Dr. Jerry D.
Schoettger, Lincoln dentists, will perform
oral Surgery at the health center.
We want to schedule surgery for twice
a week," Wickless said. "I will be there on
Tuesday afternoons, and we will determine
the other afternoon at a later date, depend
ing on Dr. Schoettger's schedule."
Wickless said the Dental Clinic at the
University Health Center had been aware
of the need for oral surgery at the clinic,
and specifically asked for the coverage.
Students interested in the service
should make appointments through the
University Health Center Dental Clinic.
