Omaha exposition
to deal with energy
The Mld-America Exposition '79 will be In Omaha on
Sept. 22 & 23, it was announced Wednesday.
"This is the first Exposition of Its kind in this area,"
said Jack Flynn, JMJ Feed Mills, president of the Renew
able Energy Trade Association, sponsors of the exposi
tion. "Many people are confused about our total energy
situation, Flynn said. 'The Energy Exposition will
provide a unique opportunity for exhibitors to bring
their energy message to the consumer.
Ben Preis of the Sheetmetal Worker's AFLIO said,
"Energy Is everyone's business. The Energy Exposition
will be the place for every type of business, industry,
or organization to tell what they are doing or can do to
solve our energy problem,' said Ben Preis, of the Sheet,
metalworkers' AFLCIO.
"The these of the Energy Exposition will be Energy
Conservation,' said Allen Ziebarth, president of Earth
Shelters, Inc., another member of RETA. 'The purpose
Is to demonstrate that energy conservation does not mean
doing without, but rather doing most efficiently with the
energy that is available ," said Ziebarth .
Energy-related businesses and organizations have
received information regarding the Energy Exposition,
said Debra Stangl, president of Energy Inform, Inc. of
Omaha, coordinators of the exposition.
