East Campus now has GAP office
Student organizations on Cast Campus no longer need to go to City Campus to register
events, attend workshops, or get advice on various problems.
Campus Activities and Programs established an East Campus satellite office on the
third floor of the East Campus Union last year.
-In terms of ourjlrst year, we are pleased with the traffic flow," said MartuvWood,
director of the CAP feast office.
Wood said for years all East Campus organizations either survived on their own or had
to go to the City Campus office. ,
"We still need to make people aware that we are here and what we can do for them,"
Wood said.
The office can sponsor workshops different groups might want, and they can advise on
most concerns an organization might have.
A calendar of events for both campuses will be available outside the office to avoid
overlapping activities.
The Daily Nebraskan also has an office in the East Campus Union.along with other stu
dent organizations in the CAP office. Anyone with story ideas or news items can leave
messages at that office. ,
