Traditional Indian dancing highlights
contemporary arts and sciences festival
Traditional Indian dancing was just one of the activities at UNLlast weekend
highlighting. Contemporary Native Americans in Arts and Sciences. The three
day celebration of culture and accomplishments of American Indians included
dancers Sammy (Toneki) White, master of ceremonies; Allen Ross, head man
dancer; Susan Arkeketa, Miss Indian America and head woman dancer; Kenneth
Anqude, head drum; Chad v Kills Crow, head boy dancer; and Jacque
Wauw ash suck, head girl dancer.
The dancing events were held at the Coliseum on the UNL campus.
