ASUN increase A report sent to the Business Affairs Subcommittee showed the ASUN alloca tion to be an increase of $4,002 or 11.3 percent over their 1978-79 allocation. The report said the increased allocation was "to facilitate student government's desire to establish a more meaningful presence on the campus." The Daily Nebraskan allocation repre sents a $1,900 decrease over the 1978-79 allocation. . "The decrease is based primarily on ASUN's concern with the losses incurred by the paper's Fathom supplement," the report said. Less frequent publication would realize savings, the report said. The $9,757 increase in UPC allocation came about through increased funding for non-political speakers and additional fund ing for women's and ethnic programs. The Health Center allocation represents an increase of $84,598 or. 7.2 percent. National health -care costs are ahead of this level, the report said, but "through prudent management and increased user fees" the health center could "live within" the budget.
