Don't delay, send today for your very own Charles Atlas He-Man Record Collection! Don't let bullies kick sand in your stereo! Hurry offer ends soon. Act now, or you'll never know what a few adagios can do for your pectorals!" "Yeah, I was heavy into Led Zeppelin for a long time, but man I kicked the habit and so can you. I stopped just like I started-One Disc At A Time. Yes, using this clini cally tested cure, I was able to go from the Band to the Beatles to Billy Joel and finally to Barry Mannilow, and buddy, that's where I can quit." Somehow, though, in spite of all I'd seen I just didn't buy it. Rock make you weak? No way. I got home and thought about doing some jogging to clear my head, but I changed my mind. I grabbed some junk food, sacked out with my headphones on, and chortled as I listened. After all, why do you think they call it rock? Animation featured A feature length program of contemporary animation will be presented at Sheldon Film Theatre. A series of 18 films in the New Animation Festival will be shown Satur day and Sunday at the theatre . The program will present a wide variety of styles, tech niques and moods ranging from a serious look at life to the crazy reaches of one's mind, said Dan Ladely, Sheldon Film Theatre director. Interesting use of color and textures develop into animated art that is very different from the traditional "Bugs Bunny" animation, he added. Subjects include the stereotyped images of male clubs, a primordial couple and the birth of their child and a paper rectangle inside the windshield of a moving car dis playing the animated landscape. Some are abstract, causing viewers to draw their own conclusions, while others are graphic in revealing human emotions, Ladely said. Showtimes are 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. with a 3 p.m. man tinee on Saturday. Admission is $2. Orchestra featured The Thad Jones and Mel Lewis Orchestra, will be fea trued at the Witherspoon Concert Hall at the Joslyn Art Museum in Omaha 7:30 p. m. Tuesday. The jazz orchestra will feature New York musicians with songs that date back to its start in 1955. Tickets are $6 for the public and $5 for students or jazz society members.
