I wish to thank all the students and others who came
to my husband's assistance when he fell on ice by the
fountain in back of the union Monday, Nov. 20-especial-ly
the person who so quickly called the ambulance and all
those who tried to comfort him with their coats, blankets,
etc. until the ambulance arrived. Thank you very much!

peace to the Middle East because stronger than the will to
exist is the will to be free.
The Palestinian people are homeless in their own land.
The "Plaestinian problem" is the root cause and the only
key to the solution of the Arab-Israeli conflict. The
Palestinians must be allowed to their rights of self
determination in their own land: not shot down and in
timidated off of their land and homes into refugee camps.
Bonfire sparks
Although I don't condone all of what happened at the
pre-Oklahoma bonfire, I do feel I must address Miss
Clark's November 27th "comment" in the Letters
column. My advice to her: excessive maturity is one of the
greater attributes of immaturity. Think about it and
decide. if you should really be in college.
Additionally, Miss Clark has made a direct accusation
against the fraternity mentioned in her letter. A good
number of people do not know if this "occurrence"
(stolen property) is true or not. I hope that Miss Clark for
her own sake and credibility can substantiate her said ac
cusation should she be questioned about it further.

Palestinian problem '
The Palestinian problem has not been adequately
covered by our news media. That is why people don't
understand the implications of Camp David. The Camp
David agreement represents no resolution of the Palestini
an problem and therefore will mean only a stronger agree
ment to repress the Palestinians. This will never bring
The U.S. Government must work for an equitable
peace in Palestine. The U.S. and other developed countries
play a big role in maintaining Israel's military advantage.
They do this not because they are sympathetic with the
Jewish people, but simply because it s rves their political
and corporate interests in the Middle East.
